Request for Expression of Interest (REOI)

The OFWM Agriculture Department Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has received financing from the World Bank to implement the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Irrigated Agriculture Improvement Project (IDA Credit No. 6456-PK). The project aims to improve irrigation management by upgrading watercourses, introducing advanced irrigation technologies, and enhancing community engagement and capacity-building.

To meet these objectives, the department invites applications from qualified individuals for the following position:

Position Details:

1. Position: Procurement Specialist
   • Qualifications:
     • Master’s degree (completed within the last 16 years) in Business Management, Engineering, Economics, Finance, or Social Sciences.
     • Degree in Procurement Management, Project Management, or Supply Chain Management is preferred.
   • Experience:
     • At least 10 years of documented professional experience in procurement management, specifically under projects financed by international agencies.
     • Experience in the procurement of goods, works, and consulting services following national/international agencies’ procedures.
     • Recent experience (in the last 5 years) of successful leadership in procurement planning and execution, with expertise in complex procurement activities.
     • Familiarity with using innovative procurement approaches is preferred.
